What to know Before you go!


Before your appointment:

  1. Shave the treated area the day before your treatment, using warm water with no exfoliation.
  2. Inform us of any changes that may apply to the medical form you completed during your consultation. (vacations, medications, etc.)
  3. Wear loose clothing on the day of your treatment.


Be sure not to do the following:

  1. Apply any makeup or creams on the day of the treatment after treatment for 48 hours.
  2. Expose your skin to sun tanning beds, be outside in the natural sun or apply any tanning products 2 weeks prior to or after your treatment.
  3. Use chemical peels or any exfoliating products containing glycolic acid, salicylic acid or any other acids in the area being treated at least two weeks prior to treatment.
  4. Use ANY hair removal creams.
  5. Bleach the hair in the treatment area.
  6. Do Not Remove hair from the root by way of waxing, threading, tweezing or epilating throughout the course of laser hair removal treatment.


After Your Treatment:


First 4 Hours:

  1. Do keep the skin hydrated with products recommended by your therapist.
  2. Do apply a cold compress to the area it feels hot or uncomfortable.
  3. Do take Tylenol if very uncomfortable or sore.
  4. Do contact us if you have any questions or concerns.


Next few days:

  1. Don't scratch the area after treatment.
  2. Don't use perfumed lotions, soaps or exfoliating products on the treated area.
  3. Don't expose your skin to ANY heat; sauna, hot baths/showers or exercising for 48 hours after treatment.
  4. Don't exfoliate or perform any advanced treatment such as microdermabrasion, dermaplane, microneedling etc. for 2 weeks after treatment.
  5. Don't expose your skin to sun - beds, the natural sun or tanning products for two weeks after treatment
  6. Don't remove hair from the root by waxing, threading, tweezing or epilating.  Shaving is ok during the course of treatment.

We use Lumenis M22 laser hair removal technology which provides on of the most comfortable treatment available on the market today. With our laser it helps keeps your skin cool and the shot of the laser feels merely like a rubber-band snap. We work quick and precise making it fast appointment. Most clients say this treatment is very tolerable.

How long does a laser hair removal treatment take?

Treatments are so easy and quick making them a for sure lunch time treatment! A small area can be done in less than 10 minutes while larger area sessions can take 30 mins. Full body treatments are booked for only one hour.

​How does laser hair removal really work and will the hair loss be really permanent?

Yes! Laser hair removal is the most effective way to get rid of unwanted hair permanently anywhere on the body. Though in most cases, a person will need about 6-8 sessions spaced 6 weeks apart for effective results in hair removal. Sometimes in rare cases, new or different hair may grow back (due to hormones, pregnancy, other factors).

In this case, you should get touch-up treatments as needed. If gray hair is present, laser will not work. Best results is to get it before it goes gray!

Can I receive laser hair removal treatments if I have darker skin?

Our laser has ND:Yag technology and works on all skin tones. The Nd:YAG laser is highly effective at destroying the blood supply to the hair follicle without burning the skin.

​Can I get laser hair removal on any part of my body?

We can help remove unwanted hair almost anywhere on your body! Laser hair removal can be done on any area of the body except the eyelids and scalp. The most popular area to be treated are the legs, back, arms, chest, upper lip, underarms, and bikini area. Wherever, you don't want hair we can get rid of it. You can also get laser hair removal done on your toes, hands, abdomen, forehead, other parts of your face.


Does laser hair removal work for blonde, red, or grey hair?

The answer to this is to come in for a complimentary consultation. If your hair is too light to work, we will let you know. Our top priority is for your satisfaction. If we can't get results, we won't do the treatment. Pigment in the hair follicle has to have color for laser to work.

Is laser hair removal safe?

We use a FDA regulated laser, and take special care and time to prepare you for your laser hair removal treatment with our Pre and Post care guide.


Additionally, all of our treatment providers are Authorized Practitioners who have been trained and are supervised by our medical director with comprehensive training that details laser physics to medical knowledge regarding hair growth and overall skin health, so that we can treat safely and effectively.

What are the risks when receiving laser hair removal?

For laser hair removal we provide eye protection and take all necessary precautions so your treatments are effective and safe. As with advanced medical aesthetic treatments there are a few side effects and risks you should be aware of that can occur:

  1. Redness and irritation is common
  2. Swelling or raised red bumps (a good sign it is working)
  3. Some people may experience skin crusting uncommonly
  4. Changes in skin color not usually
  5. Eye injury is possible if eye protection is not worn
  6. Risk of skin infection is rare and care should be taken after treatments

If you should have any side effect, we offer a complete recourse of action with your post care.


What should I do or not do after laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal is a simple procedure and there’s almost no recovery time so you can return to work immediately after your treatment.


  1. Be sure to wear sunscreen to protect the treated area and stay out of the sun for 10 days.
  2. For skin sensitivity or irritated skin you may use over the counter (OTC) medicine such as Tylenol.
  3. If any uncommon side effects like a blister or bad skin irritation then please contact us for direction.
  4. Avoid any other type of skin treatments for 2 weeks after the procedure.
  5. Use sunscreen daily, at least 30+ SPF (mineral based).
  6. Gently exfoliate the area in the shower is ok after 5 days (body only).
  7. Do not wax, pluck or otherwise remove the hair by force, shaving is allowed
  8. Due to skin sensitivity avoid excess heat for 48 hours such as really hot showers and baths, saunas, hot tubs, or heat packs.
  9. Avoid make-up, deodorant, or any other topical creams or medications for 24 hours.

How much does laser hair removal cost?

What's included in the OTG Full-body Laser Hair Removal sessions?

The OTG Full-body session includes any combination of

2 large + 2 medium + 2 small areas

You may also trade this combination of areas as follows:

trade 2 small for 1- medium or 2 medium for 1- large, or 2 small and one medium for a large.


Areas cannot be changed once selected for the term of your package.

If additional areas are wanted beyond the amount selected those are paid for separately.

In most cases, most people will be completely satisfied what the Full body package can cover.

How many sessions are needed to obtain optimal results?

All people are different and some body parts may need more or less sessions, however, most people will commonly require a average 8-10 sessions every 6 weeks for optimal results.

Do I leave a tip for my technician?

While a percentage of the price is not expected for laser hair removal, your technician will always appreciate a gesture of appreciation for their expertise. It is common to provide gratuity for your provider in the amount of about $15-20 for small area, $20-30 for a medium area, $30-40 for a large area and about $50 - $60 for a full body session only as you may feel obliged after each treatment.
